Cancellation Policy
Late cancellations and no-shows really impact our business, our stylists, and other guests waiting for an appointment. We understand that plans can change, and sometimes you may need to reschedule or cancel your booking.
To help us accommodate all guests, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice. This allows us to offer your appointment to someone on our waitlist.
We send a reminder email 5 days prior and a text 48 hours before your appointment. Please confirm your attendance when you receive these. If you do not receive a reminder, let us know so we can update your details.
Late cancellations (within 24 hours) and missed appointments incur a 50% fee. We may use our discretion in cases of illness.
Arriving Late
We value your time and aim to deliver a seamless experience. Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you are running 5 -10 minutes late, let us know as soon as possible. Late arrival may reduce your service time, and adjustments may be required to stay on schedule.
If we cannot complete your service within the remaining time, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
If delays occur on our end, we will always do our best to notify you in advance. Thank you for your understanding.
Referral Policy
We are incredibly grateful for our clients and the community we’ve built at The Avenue. Referrals are the highest compliment.
Ask your stylist for a “Refer a Friend Card” and enjoy one of the following rewards:

Pricing
All prices listed online are a guide and may vary depending on hair length, thickness, stylist experience, and additional services.
Quotes provided online or over the phone are estimates. Final pricing is confirmed after an in-salon consultation.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing when necessary, but will always communicate and confirm this with you beforehand.
Annual Price Review
To maintain the quality and service you expect, our pricing may be reviewed annually. Any updates will be communicated in advance for full transparency.
Re-Do Policy
Your satisfaction is our priority. If your result does not meet expectations, we are committed to working with you to make it right.
1. Eligibility
- Requests must be made within one week of your appointment
- Aftercare advice must have been followed
- The redo must relate to the original service
2. Requesting a Redo
Please contact us at theteam@avenuehair.co.nz with:
- Appointment date
- Your stylist’s name
- Description of concerns (photos if possible)
3. Consultation
Your stylist will assess your hair, discuss your concerns, and recommend the best solution.
4. Limitations
- Does not cover changes in preference after the service
- Requests outside the timeframe may incur a charge
- We reserve the right to decline redo requests where appropriate
