What are Tape In Extensions and how are they applied to the hair?

A small and extremely thin weft of hair with a medical grade adhesive strip that is used to sandwich a small section of natural hair in between creating a seamless blend between your natural hair and the extension.

As extensions are a bespoke service and no two heads are the same. A salon personalised consultation is necessary. During this appointment your experienced stylist will determine the best options suited to your hair type and lifestyle based on your natural hair quality, length, thickness and your ultimate hair goals, she will then provide you with a customised quote.

Do I need a consultation prior to having hair extensions done

Are Tape in Extensions right for me?

Tape is a great option for those who want a semi-permanent option as they are easily removed. A weft of hair is pre-taped, then sandwiched between two layers of natural hair.
• Often wear their hair out, or in a low bun 
• Don't want to wear a high pony
Tapes are often visible when the hair is pulled up high. When the hair is down, tapes are completely seamless.
The bonus is the tapes can be reused. 

How often do I need to have my Tape in extensions refit?

Tape in extensions need to be removed and reapplied every 6-8 weeks.
This is an in-salon service that can vary between 1.5 hours - 2 hours. 

How often do I need to have my Tape in extensions refit?

Highlights \ spicing up your colour : 10 Tapes of Hair Extensions tactically placed will enhance any style and colour. 

Fine Hair : Approximately 10 - 20 Tapes will  be needed to add instant volume \ fullness and life.
Approximately 20 -30 Tapes will be needed to create volume and change the shape of the style, adding length and fullness.

Medium hair : Approximately 20 - 25 Tapes will be  needed to create thickness and add length \ change the shape of the style.  

Medium to thick hair: Approximately 25 - 35 Tapes will be needed to add length.

Do I have to have a break from extensions?

Tape in hair extensions are known to be safe and gentle as long as they are:
• applied by a specialist and are removed correctly. 
• You are using professional hair care products.
